NOTICE OF THE 40TH ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (AGM)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the 40th Annual General Meeting of the Young Members Committee (YMC) will be held on Thursday, 12 June 2025 at 6:30 pm at the Grand Ballroom, Level 6, Royal Plaza Hotel, 193 Prince Edward Road West, Mong Kok, Kowloon for the following purposes:

1.   To receive and confirm the Minutes of the 39th Annual General Meeting.

2.   To receive and adopt the Annual Report of the YMC for Session 2024/25.

3.   To receive and adopt the Financial Statement of the YMC for Session 2024/25.

4.   To elect the Chairman and Committee Members of the YMC for Session 2025/26.

In case of adjournment of the AGM, members of the Committee shall check on the Institution’s website at http://www.hkie.org.hk and the YMC’s website at http://ymc.hkie.org.hk for the revised venue, time and date for the adjourned AGM.

Nominations for YMC Committee Members for Session 2025/26 are now welcome. Interested Registered Young Members (RYMs) please contact Ir King CHEUNG, Immediate Past Chairman of the YMC, at email: tkcheung.hkie@gmail.com to obtain the nomination forms. Closing date of the nomination is Thursday, 29 May 2025.

Eligibility

In order to be eligible for election, the proposer, seconder and the nominee must be a RYM in the HKIE membership registration before the closing date.
