NOTICE OF THE 32ND ANNUAL
GENERAL MEETING (AGM)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that
the 32nd Annual General Meeting of
the Young Members Committee (YMC) will
be held on Tuesday, 6
June 2017
at 6:30pm
at The Grand Assembly Hall, 4/F North Tower, “The Salisbury” – YMCA of Hong
Kong, 41 Salisbury Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon for the following purposes:
1.
To
receive and confirm the Minutes of the 31st Annual General Meeting.
2.
To
receive and adopt the Annual
Report of the YMC for Session 2016/2017.
3.
To
receive and adopt the Financial Statement of the YMC for Session 2016/2017.
4.
To
elect the Chairman and Committee Members of the YMC for Session 2017/2018.
In case of adjournment of
the AGM, members of the Committee shall check on the Institution’s website at http://www.hkie.org.hk and the YMC’s website at http://ymc.hkie.org.hk of the revised venue, time and date for the
adjourned AGM.

Nominations
for Chairman and Committee Members
Chairman
The outgoing Committee has decided to nominate Ir Ambrose CHEN Hao
Ting for
election as the Chairman for Session 2017/2018.
No
further nomination has been received from members by the nomination deadline.
Committee Members
The outgoing Committee has decided to opt for the maximum of 15 Committee
Members. The 10
Committee
Members who will continue to serve on the Committee are: Mr CHEUNG Tin
King, Mr Joseph FISHER Man King, Mr Eric HO Ka
Chun, Ms
Yani KO Yik
Yan, Ir Vincent LEUNG Chi
To, Mr Timothy

The five Committee Members who will retire
from the Committee are: Mr Logan

Ir Alan CHENG Siu
Lun, Ir Raymond MAK Ka Yeung and Ms June YIP King Yan.
Hence,
there are five vacancies of Committee Members for election.
The
outgoing Committee has decided to nominate the following two candidates for
election as Committee Members for a three-year term: Ms Kahl CHEUNG Kar Man and
Ms HO Ka Man.
In
addition, the following five nominations for the post of Committee Member have been
received from members by the nomination deadline: Mr Alan LAM Ho Lun, Ir
Raymond MAK Ka Yeung, Mr
Samson PUNG Chun Nok, Ms Hidy YAN Tsz Tung and Ms June
YIP King Yan.
As
the number of nominations exceeds the number of vacancies, a ballot shall be
held.
