Mr. Edmond Chan has experience on several disciplines including Smart Grid, Power Quality and Electric Mobility. He is currently the Senior Systems Engineering Manager and leads the Power Quality and Electric Mobility Team in CLP Power Hong Kong Ltd. He is responsible to develop and deploy EV charging infrastructure for electric vehicles and provide various power quality services.

Programme Highlights

To support the promotion of green vehicles in Hong Kong, CLP has introduced an advanced charging network to allow Electric Vehicles (EVs) to be more widely used across Hong Kong. Today, CLP has set up more than 140 charging points across Kowloon, the New Territories and Lantau Island for public use. CLP has introduced the city’s first multi standard quick charger providing wider support to more EVs. 

In the presentation, the speaker will share his experience on EV application, development of charging infrastructure and support services.
