Programme Highlights

Hin Keng Station (HIK) is an under-construction station on the East West Corridor of the MTR Sha Tin to Central Link project. HIK is the only elevated station and the first SCL station to be topped out. There are viaducts and box tunnels connecting HIK to Lion Rock Tunnel and the other side is connecting the existing at-grade track to Tai Wai Station. It does not only provide a reliable, fast and convenient service to residents in the Hin Keng area but also offers an alternative route between the New Territories and East Kowloon. This visit will provide an opportunity to members to appreciate the structural works and installation of building services equipment of a new station.

Safety Equipment

Participants must bring along their own safety helmets, safety reflective vest, safety shoes and valid green card in the visit.
