Speaker
Ir
Conrad Wong Tin-cheung, BBS, JP, the Vice Chairman of Yau Lee Holdings Limited,
Programme Highlights
The seminar is
part of the local series of Overseas
Delegation 2017 to Iceland “Climate Change: the Happening”.
Green elements have been a frequent word to be used
when designing infrastructures
and buildings for a sustainable development. The Green Building Council,
Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) and BEAM Plus Assessment
are the institute and tools rose as part of the Green Building cornerstone. In
other overseas countries, green buildings are actively promoted in both the
public and private sectors. In Hong Kong however, green buildings are more
successful in the public than the private sectors. Producing a cost saving
design is one of the main challenges faced in the private sector.
In this seminar, Ir Conrad Wong will share the
latest green building developments and forecast the development trends in Hong
Kong.
The seminar will be conducted in Cantonese
with English presentation material.
