The HKIE-YMC
Overseas Delegation is a sustainable program that arouses young engineers’
potential in leadership and motivates the young ones’ vision to learn from
overseas good practices.
With the theme
“Climate Change: the Happening” the YMC plans to organise a delegation to the
Iceland. Despite the beautiful scenery
and famous Northern Light, the kingdom of ice is at stake with the fast
development of civilization.
This delegation
shall review the current problems on climate change, and with iceland as an
example, to find out the key role of engineers in the global fight against
it. Moreover, our young engineers shall
also make reference with the energy policy in Iceland and to find out how Hong
Kong shall be developed to achieve total sustainability.

Application is open to all registered young
members and the number of delegates is limited to 16. All candidates joining the delegation will go
through a screening interview by delegation advisors and delegation manager. Strong commitment to the delegation is
