Programme HighlightThis joint technical visit with AEEMM to the Kai Tak Development
District Cooling Systems (DCS) Plant offers participants an in-depth
understanding of Hong Kong’s first large-scale centralized cooling system,
designed to enhance energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions in urban
developments.
The visit aims to showcase how the Kai Tak DCS Plant supports
sustainable district development by providing reliable, cost-effective, and
environmentally friendly cooling solutions, contributing to Hong Kong’s climate
goals and smart city initiatives.
The participants
may:

plant’s advanced infrastructure and operational processes, including
chilled water production and distribution systems.
- Gain insights into
the energy-saving benefits and carbon reduction strategies achieved
through centralized cooling technology.
- Learn about the
integration of innovative design and control systems that ensure
efficiency, reliability, and sustainability in large-scale cooling
operations.
