Sharing 1: Centralized Management Platform by Using Landlink Technology
Speaker: Mr Robert HAN, Smart Construction Lab
Landlink technology, developed by the Smart Construction Laboratory at
The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, is revolutionizing safety in construction
sites. This high-speed dedicated wireless network addresses the limitations of
traditional communication systems. By enabling seamless data transmission and
real-time monitoring, Landlink enhances site safety and management efficiency.
It supports over 30 nodes with a bandwidth exceeding 200 Mbps, ensuring robust
connectivity even in challenging environments. With capabilities like precise
positioning and rapid deployment, Landlink facilitates advanced applications in
smart construction, ultimately reducing costs and improving safety outcomes in
complex construction scenarios.
Sharing 2: Smart Site Safety System Through Integrated Asset Management
Speaker: Mr Ivan SOU, Head of Tool Services Marketing, Hilti (Hong Kong)
Limited
As projects become increasingly complex, effective asset tracking is
essential for maintaining efficiency and reducing costs. We will discuss the
challenges faced on construction sites, such as the time spent searching for
equipment and managing maintenance schedules. We will explore the critical role
of digital asset management and how Hilti’s ON!Track, a solution that is
pre-approved on the SSSS under CITF funding under Category 2, utilizes
technology and a user-friendly app to provide real-time visibility into assets,
ensuring compliance and improving project outcomes. Join us to discover how
digital solutions can transform your asset management practices for greater
success.Join us to explore how the Central Kowloon Route is set to transform
urban mobility and contribute to a more sustainable and efficient
transportation network across Kowloon.
Sharing 3: AI Cam Application in Digital Supervision System
Speaker: Mr NG Kin Tung, Director, TOKY Supervision System Engineering
Limited
The AI Camera application in the 4S Smart Site Safety System enhances
construction site safety through advanced monitoring and detection
capabilities. Equipped with high-definition imaging and AI-driven analytics,
these cameras provide real-time alerts for potential hazards, such as
unauthorized access to danger zones. They integrate seamlessly with centralized
management platforms, allowing for instant data analysis and incident
reporting. The system supports features like collision avoidance, geofencing, and
live video feeds, ensuring comprehensive oversight. By leveraging AI
technology, the application significantly improves safety protocols, reduces
risks, and enhances overall operational efficiency on construction sites.
