Programme Highlights

As the challenges of climate change escalate and the need for sustainable practices becomes more urgent, this webinar introduces one of the solutions: carbon offsetting. The global carbon trading market is continuing to grow, driven by increasing regulatory frameworks and voluntary participation, with gradual developments unfolding in Hong Kong and China.

Mr. Bill Tsang currently serves as the Associate Director (ESG) at Roma Green Finance Limited, with over 15 years of experience as a Sustainability and ESG practitioner. He has been involved in ESG and decarbonisation strategy advisory, as well as climate risk management for corporate clients across a wide range of industrial sectors.

Participants will gain some basic understanding of the principles and necessity of carbon offsetting and carbon credits. They will learn about global trends shaping the carbon market and the real-world usage among corporates, such as criteria for selecting quality carbon offset projects to achieve carbon neutrality.
