Programme Highlights

The sharing introduces the principle of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Geographic Information System (GIS) centric Digital Twin and explores the implementation processes of the owner-operated facilities in Hong Kong. The speaker will introduce the practical uses of the technology across disciplines and highlight the benefits of enhancing Architecture, Engineering Construction, Operation (AECO), and Repair, Maintenance, Alteration, and Addition (RMAA) to cover the entire building life-cycle management through digital engineering solutions. With some work practice cases, the speaker will elaborate on how owner-operated facilities adopt BIM and Digital Twin technology to continuously improve speed, quantity, quality, and efficiency, ensuring streamlined project delivery and superior outcomes in critical infrastructure.
