Programme Highlights

As concerns about environmental pollution and climate change continue to grow, there has been an increasing effort to engage the public in understanding and appreciating sustainability. In line with this, the Hong Kong Government has announced plans for the region to achieve carbon neutrality by the year of 2050. Opened in September 2024, the ‘kNOw Carbon House’ serves as a valuable resource, offering insights into how everyday citizens can play a part in this important goal, beginning with simple habits and practices in their daily lives by interacting with exhibitions.

Explore four main themes in kNOw Carbon House:

-      Net-zero power generation

-      Energy-efficient green buildings

-      Waste reduction for all

-      Green transportation.

Situated in the heart of downtown Hong Kong, the ‘kNOw Carbon House’ has been repurposed from the previous Wan Chai Environmental Resource Centre. We warmly invite you to join us for a guided tour, which aims to deepen your understanding of environmental protection. This is also a fantastic opportunity to connect with like-minded junior professionals who share your passion for sustainability and the environment.
