Smart Site Safety System (4S) generally comprises three components – (a) smart safety devices for monitoring high-risk construction activities and identifying safety hazards; (b) a communication network for transmission of data collected from smart devices; and (c) a centralized management platform for providing a one-stop hub for data analysis and alerts generation, as well as facilitating follow-up actions with potential hazards and abnormalities identified. 

The seminar highlights the latest technology which can be adopted as the 4S system in Hong Kong construction projects, which uplifts safety performance and reduces the accident rate on site.
