Programme
Highlights
Nowadays, the Mission to Zero
initiative has emerged as a significant endeavor to achieve carbon neutrality
by 2030. The key to attaining energy efficiency and carbon neutrality in
building lies in the implementation of smart energy and asset management practices.
The Mission to Zero program serves as a scalable blueprint that encompasses
smart building solutions combined with on-site renewable energy generation and
storage. One goal of the program is to generate enough clean energy on site to
power operations with zero emissions.
This seminar aims to present a
showcase on the flagship ABB Manufacturing Industrial Hub in Xiamen, China.
Through the utilization of a revolutionary energy monitoring system and the
implementation of on-site renewable energy generation and storage, the hub has
successfully reduced its annual CO2e emissions by 13,400 tons. This
accomplishment serves as a stepping stone towards a cleaner energy future in
China. Furthermore, the seminar will also present safe, smart and sustainable MV
switchgear solutions to save time and maximize reliability.
