Programme Highlights
Hong Kong is on high alert for the COVID-19 pandemic. Concerns over the demand of isolation wards and building quarantine facilities are also rapidly growing. The HKSAR Government and works departments have taken various actions including construction of quarantine centres and community isolation facilities, as well as construction and conversion of more isolation wards.
The talk will be divided into two sessions. In the first session, the speaker will introduce the purpose of isolation ward; type of isolation; design standards and design of isolation ward. In the second session, the speaker will introduce the modern MiC technology and its adoption in isolation and quarantine facilities.
