Programme highlights
In succession to overseas delegation to Australia in early 2008, with the theme of sustainable development which embarked a meaningful journey to experience sustainable development in Australia, the YMC plans to organise another overseas delegation to Dubai in March 2009 with focus on innovation in engineering. With the theme engineering miracles, delegates will visit Dubai, the place which currently gathers world's famous engineering wonders. The Palm Islands, Burj Dubai, etc have collected world top engineers' ideas and participation in these complex, innovative and sophisticated world number one projects. Delegates are expected to acquire global exposure to innovation through these multi-disciplinary projects, as an inspiration to think creatively and to turn their ideas into action. Site visits to large scale construction sites across Dubai, communication sessions with engineering professionals to understand the engineering issues and town planning for the rapid growing city will be the focuses of this delegation.
Fee
About HK$8,000 for RYM and about HK$10,000 for non-RYM
Registration & enquiries
Application is open to all registered young members and the number of delegates is about 14-16. All candidates joining the delegation will go through a screening interview by delegation advisors.
