Programme Highlights
The HKIE-YMC Overseas Delegation is a sustainable programme that arouses young engineer’s potential in leadership and motivates the young ones’ vision to learn from overseas experiences.
The YMC plans to organize a delegation to Israel, with the theme “Innovation • Infrastructure • Investment”. Israel has applied many innovative technologies to overcome the country’s challenges and enhance the quality of people’s life. She has a thriving start-up culture and has attracted a number of investment and partnerships in high-technology industries.
The delegation shall study Israel’s advanced technology and startup ecosystem and their potential applications in Hong Kong, as well as explore how Hong Kong shall be developed to become a smart and innovative city.

Application is open to all registered young members and the number of delegates is limited to 16. All candidates joining the delegation will go through a screening interview by delegation advisors and delegation manager. Strong commitment to the delegation is expected.
