14:00-15:00 Guided Heritage Tour of PMQ
15:00-17:00 Photography Workshop by Professional
Photographer
One of
the spirit of photography is to capture the precious moment and things, so that
we can learn from the past and get ready for the future. With the advancement
of technology, photography nowadays is easily accessible, from smartphones to
DSLR cameras.
This
workshop aims to combine heritage and photography so participants can learn to
capture the precious moment with their own perspective.
In this programme, participants will learn about the diverse historical
and cultural background of the PMQ on a guided tour through 7 historical spots led
by PMQ’s docent. It is then followed by a photo workshop taught
by a professional photographer to learn some general rules on how to take good
pictures, such as the use of ISO, aperture and shutter speed. Participants can immediately
put theory into practice as they will re-visit some of the historical spots,
where they can capture the buildings and architecture
from unique perspectives in a professional way. In
addition, through visiting historical heritages,
participants will be able to understand more about the heritage and culture
behind, as well as the different ways of preservation.
