Programme HighlightsProper and
timely tree maintenance works contributes to the healthy growth and good form
of trees. This seminar aims at promoting the message of proper tree care in
engineering field, including introduction to tree management, proper practice
in tree maintenance, tree preservation and protection in works area and tree
risk assessment.
The seminar

Speaker
Mr Chiky C Y
WONG, M.Phil., BSc. in Biology, Cert. in Landscape Design, HKGBC BEAM Pro
Chiky is an
arborist and landscape specialist with more than 15-year experience and he is
now the director of Greenphil Limited, providing landscape solutions and tree
management advice to its clients.
He has
worked with NGOs, consultancies, contractors, oversea organization as well as
the government on different projects covering broad disciplines such as
landscape design, cultivation advice, planting practice, tree preservation,
transplanting, standard audit and eco-tour design/implementation.
As a pioneer
tree specialist in Hong Kong, Chiky is the first batch of Certified Arborist
locally since 2007 when the awareness of tree management was just seeded in the
territory. Currently he is one of a few Board Certified Master Arborist (BCMA)
in the Asia-Pacific.
