Programme Highlights
The Chemical
Waste Treatment Centre (CWTC) has been in operation since 1993. The
design capacity of the CWTC is 100,000 tonnes per year of chemical waste. The
treatment process mainly consists of oil/water separation, physical/chemical
treatment and rotary kiln incineration technology. It also includes various
ancillary systems designed to support the treatment process.
The visit
will introduce the chemical waste treatment process and technologies adopted by
CWTC. Transportation will be provided and pick up at Kwai Fong MTR Station.

The visit is free of charge and the number of participants is
limited to 28. The applications will be accepted on a first-come first-served
basis with priority given to Registered Young Members. For registration, please
