Programme Highlights
Transportation is a significant contributor to global CO2 emissions,
responsible for almost 24% of all emissions. Within the transportation sector,
road transportation, including cars, trucks, and motorbikes, accounts for over
75% of these emissions. Passenger cars alone contribute to 60% of global road
transportation emissions. However, by adopting electric mobility in conjunction
with renewable energy generation, we have the potential to substantially reduce
global CO2 emissions. This transition to electric vehicles can aid in achieving
CO2 emission targets, mitigating pollution and noise levels, and enhancing our
overall health and comfort.
The focus of this seminar would be EV charging solutions, encompassing
the latest advancements in charging technologies, global charging standards,
and charging infrastructure solutions. By exploring these areas, we can gain
insight into the innovations and developments driving the widespread adoption
of EVs.
