Programme Highlights

To echo the 14th Five-Year Plan of indicated support to Hong Kong’s development into an international Innovation & Technology (I&T) centre, the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region promulgated the Hong Kong Innovation and Technology Development Blueprint in December 2022 to set out a clear development path and formulate systematic strategic planning for Hong Kong’s I&T development over the next 5 to 10 years, targeting to achieve a higher contribution percentage of manufacturing sector of gross domestic product (GDP) by 2032.

With a view to putting forth the innovation and technology development of Hong Kong, this seminar will focus on the vision and target of the Hong Kong I&T Development Blueprint, current industry status and the future development in Hong Kong as well as potential challenge and action plan.
