Programme
highlights
Facing
obstacles, failure and workload pressure, anger is a natural and life-affirming
emotion. It lets us know when a boundary has been crossed, when our needs are
not being met, or when someone we care about is in danger. But when
misdirected, anger can harm our physical health and our relationships.
Mindfulness can be a useful counterbalance to the fiery emotion of anger,
helping us channel this strong emotion in more helpful and healthy ways.
This
workshop will explain to young engineers about their personal emotions.
Participants will be given the chance to learn the skills for managing their
emotional feeling via in-class practical exercises and transfer the lessons
learnt to daily work and life circumstance for handling pressure and extreme
personal emotions.
