Programme highlights
HKIE - YMC is organizing a French cooking class to show members the art
of French cuisine and learn about French food culture. The event will begin
with a brief introduction of French food culture, follow by a hands-on cooking experience under the
guidance of professional chef from French Lab. Participants will learn to make
their own Quiche Lorraine (法式鹹派), which is a classic French savory tart. The professional chef will
share skills in making the perfect crust pastry and explain the selection of
fillings of the tart.
Through this hands-on experience, participants can be familiar with
classic ingredients in French cuisine, and the common baking techniques. After
cooking, participants can enjoy their freshly made tart and network with each
other!
