Highlights
Writing is an essential tool for engineers to express
their ideas, thoughts, and experience in different engineering works as well as
present works for their training reports and their professional assessment. In
addition, essay writing is one of the major components in the professional
assessment process which many young engineers may find difficulties with.
This workshop aims to provide young engineers with guidance
on professional writing, and the workshop includes:
- Professional
comments on learner essay writing before the lesson
- Useful
structure/skills for writing an essay in a short period of time
- Tips and
examples on professional essay and report writing
- How to
present the experience/ express the views in a logical manner
- Professional
comments on learner amended essay writing after the lesson

Speaker
Ir. Anthony KF CHOW is a practicing barrister in HK at
Cheng Huan Q.C. S.C.’s Chambers. Anthony coaches engineers as mentor to become
professional, he also teaches as the part-time lecturer in law and engineering
at the University of Hong Kong, Vocational Training Council and Hong Kong
Productivity Council.
