Programme Highlights

The Cross Bay Link (CBL) is a 1.8 km-long dual two-lane carriageway connecting LOHAS Park area to the Tseung Kwan O – Lam Tin Tunnel (TKOLTT). The CBL together with the TKOLTT will relieve the traffic congestion at the existing Tseung Kwan O and provide an alternative route between TKO and Kowloon East.  The integral part of the CBL’s marine viaduct is the “Eternity Arch”, a 200 m-long, 10000 tonne prefabricated double-arch steel bridge. It will be the longest steel arch bridge in Hong Kong. 

During the visit, participants will be given a presentation of the project, followed by a boat trip around the project site to gain insights into the challenges and achievements of the project.

This event is free of charge and limited to 20 participants.  Applications will be accepted on a first-come first-served basis with priority given to Registered Young Members (RYMs).  Participants are required to bring their own PPE (including safety hamlet, reflective vest and safety shoes) and valid Green Cards or equivalent credentials to the event.
