Programme Highlights

Nowadays, it is common to work overtime in office to complete the daily works. When downsizing and retrenchment are two buzz words, many companies have already withdrawn their overtime work systems. Working overtime has become a common phenomenon in Hong Kong. Everybody knows overwork, over-eat, reduced rest and little exercise do more harm than good.  Everybody knows the importance of work-life balance. Yet, when we face heavy workload and life stress, it is necessary to understand how we can deal with the stress and then turn it to our energy.

The workshop aims to allow young engineers to understand human emotions and stress, explore ways to improve our emotional intelligence and manage stress, develop positive psychology and get practical tips to balance the negative emotions.

Language

The workshop will be conducted in Cantonese.

Speaker

Ms Irene Ko from Hong Kong Family Welfare Society
