Programme Highlights
Organic farming is a new way of agricultural production management
system which eliminating the use of synthetic inputs such as pesticides and
preservatives. Meanwhile, it can enhance the health of soil and promote the
sustainable development of the ecosystem, achieving one of the UN Sustainable Development
Goals – Goal 15 Life On Land.
In this visit to the local farm, participants will attend a talk on green,
organic and low carbon environmental farming followed by a hands-on experience in
organic farming. Participants will also be able to make their own
pineapple jam and 4 pieces of pineapple cakes.
