Programme Highlights

As a new house buyer, it is important to check the quality and identify any defects exist in the new flat during the Defect Liability Period. There is an increasing demand for building inspection experts to provide professional advice to clients, to help them assess the new property and recommend necessary improvement works. This workshop will introduce relevant requirement and acceptance criteria for building inspection. The basic skills on building defects survey and the necessary follow up actions will also be described and demonstrated through case sharing by an experienced building inspection expert.

The workshop will be conducted in Chinese.

Mr. Tsim Chai Nam

Mr. Tsim is the Director of Clerk of Works Services Limited and the Chairman of Hong Kong Professional Building Inspection Academy. He has extensive experience in the field of building inspection. He has published books and provided advices on various television programmes relating to building inspection.
