Highlights
In support of International Coastal Clean-up
Day, the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department and the Hong Kong
Underwater Association will jointly hold a coastal clean-up campaign at Sharp
Island in Sai Kung on 21 September 2019. Volunteers will help remove abandoned
fishing gear on the nearby seabed and rubbish left on the beach.
We are
looking for volunteers to keep the sea clean. Throughout the volunteer works, we
can appreciate the importance of
protecting the marine ecology and enhance awareness of marine conservation.
This activity is in voluntary
basis. Activity-associated risk will be assumed by the participants.
Registration & Enquiries
The number of participants is limited to 10 and prior registration is required. The event
is free of charge. For registration, please register online at

first-come-first-serve basis with priority given to Registered Young Members. Successful
