Programme HighlightsThe Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (Chinese: 香港空運貨站, Hactl) is one of the world’s leading air cargo terminals with the unique world-class facilities, highly efficient operation, and innovative technology. It is also Hong Kong’s largest independent air cargo handler. Built in 1998 at Hong Kong International Airport in Chek Lap Kok, the fully automated Cargo Handling System (CHS) maximum handling capacity is up to 3.5 million tonnes per annum. The system consists of Container Storage System (CSS) and Box Storage System (BSS), which provides more than 3,500 ULD storage positions and 10,000 storage positions for general import, export and transshipment cargo.
