Programme Highlights
CLP Power Hong Kong
Limited (CLP Power) set up its training school in 1966 and has trained
thousands of engineering professionals. In October 2017, CLP Power expanded its
established training network to create a new CLP Power Academy. It works in
partnership with the School of Professional Education and Executive Development
of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU SPEED) to launch the part-time Bachelor of Engineering
(Honours) in Electrical Engineering programme.
The programme meets the
accreditation standards at Qualification Framework Level 5. It offers in-depth
coverage of electrical engineering, including specific knowledge of power
transmission and distribution systems. Students will have the opportunity to
gain hands-on experience of power equipment at CLP Power Academy and visit the
power facilities or work sites of CLP Power.
