Programme Highlights

Lamma Power Station supply electricity to more than 570,000 customers on Hong Kong Island and Lamma Island, with reliability of more than 99.999%.The power station has a total installed capacity of 3,737MW. Through this visit, participants will explore the how electricity is generated and its electricity-generating units.

The visit will start with a briefing on the environmental protection measures of power station, and then followed by a tour on the Solar PV system, Turbine hall of gas-fired generating unit and have a Bus tour to Gas Receiving Station.

The visit is free of charge and the number of participants is limited to 25. The applications will be accepted on a first-come first-served basis with priority given to Registered Young Members.
