Programme Highlights

The satellite Earth Station of this technical visit is a large telecommunications facility located in Stanley. The infrastructure is made up of several large dish-shaped antennas. Through this visit, participants can explore the basic international & satellite communication standard, development of satellite communication in Hong Kong and the system & supporting facilities in resilience. The visit will start with a presentation and then followed by a tour to the facilities.

Since Stanley Satellite Earth Station is at military restricted zone, successful applicants will be further required to submit their full names with HKID Card No. for registration. Coach will be arranged for this visit.

Registration & Enquiries

The visit is free of charge and the number of participants is limited to 40. The applications will be accepted on a first-come first-served basis with priority given to Registered Young Members, END members & AMC members.
