Programme Highlights
Germany has been a leading country in engineering for centuries. With its national strategic initiative of “Industry 4.0”, Germany is a pioneer in digital transformation in the manufacturing industry with high-technology and knowledge-based production. The country is also driving the implementation of climate action targets and sustainable development goals.
The HKIE-YMC has organised a delegation to Germany, with the theme “The Moment of Engineering Evolution”. After organising a wide range of local seminars and visits and a 11-day trip to Germany, the delegates will share their insights on the topics of digital transformation, sustainable city and energy transition, and explore how Hong Kong shall promote innovation and technology toward a sustainable future.

The seminar is free of charge and the number of participants is limited to 50. Applications will be accepted on a first-come first-served basis with priority given to Registered Young Members.
