Programme Highlights

According to the annual Poverty Situation Report from Hong Kong Government, one-fifth of Hong Kong citizens live in poverty, it is important for us to understand people from different walks of life. Food Angel is a food rescue and food assistance program which serves nutritious hot meals to the underprivileged communities in Hong Kong. The program rescues edible surplus food from different sectors of the food industry that would otherwise be disposed of as waste, and transfers the rescued food items to nutritious foods.

Volunteers will be involved in preparing the food ingredients and packaging, and understanding the operation of Food Angel.

Fee

The activity is free of charge.

The number of participants is limited to be 10. The applications will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis with priority given to Registered Young Members.
