Programme
Highlights
Set against the backdrop of the global
pandemic, environmental, social and governance (ESG) has emerged as a hot topic
as organizations and governments alike focus on a green recovery. The rise of
ESG has brought non-financial reporting into the forefront of corporate
disclosures, influencing business strategy, investment decisions, and access to
financing. The latest requirements from ESG reporting frameworks have impacted
all branches of business, from internal audits to human resources, and
corporate communications to engineering operations.
The Young Members Committees of the Hong Kong
Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) and The Hong Kong
Institution of Engineers (HKIE) have jointly invited experts from Ernest &
Young (EY)to present at this webinar to introduce the big picture driving ESG
performance in companies, and how these trends are impacting
engineering-related companies, their business direction, and daily operations,
as well as the role of engineers and accountants in this rapidly growing field.
