Programme Highlights

Magic is a performing art in which audiences are entertained by tricks, effects, or illusions of seemingly impossible feats, using natural means. Close-up magic is performed with the audience close to the magician, sometimes even one-on-one. It usually makes use of everyday items as props, such as cardscoins, and seemingly 'impromptu' effects.

By learning magic, participants can train their presentation skills, build up confidence in front of people as well as gaining a sense of humor. Magic performance is often the best ice-breaker to make new friends as well as mystify and entertain friends.

In this workshop, participants can learn magic such as cards manipulation, coins magic, rings magic, and pens magic, etc. Outstanding participants will be invited to perform on YMC’s Annual Reception.

Tutor

James Lee is a magician with 5 years of experience in sleight of hand magic, 3 years of experience as a private tutor. The coach has profound experience in performing close up magic on weddings, charity and educational events.
