Programme Highlights
The public fill bank at Tseung Kwan O Area 137 plays an important role in the public fill management in Hong Kong. Comprised of storage area, sorting facilities and crushing plant, the Tseung Kwan O Area 137 Fill Bank provides temporarily storage and processing facilities for public fill and supplies reused fill materials and recycled aggregates for construction projects in Hong Kong.
The innovative “Smart Site for Safety” system is adopted on site. The system incorporated various technologies including IoT devices, AI analytics, NB-IoT, UWB, LoRa, etc. into the system so as to conduct continuous, automated and real-time monitoring on safety-related behaviour of workers and high-risk construction activities.
Participants will be given a tour of the fill bank to explore more in its daily operation and the “Smart Site for Safety” system adopted on site.

This event is free of charge and limited to 20 participants. Applications will be accepted on a first-come first-served basis with priority given to Registered Young Members (RYMs). Participants are required to bring their own PPE and valid Green Cards or equivalent credentials to the event.
