Programme Highlights
The “Fire and Ambulance Services Education Centre cum Museum” is located at the “Fire and Ambulance Sevices Academy” at Pak Shing Kok, Tseung Kwan O. The Education Centre cum Museum has a four-story exhibition hall offering a range of interactive and multimedia information facilities and a number of different exhibition and experience areas. There are “History of Hong Kong Fire Services”, “Fire Appliances/ Ambulances”, “Community Emergency Preparedness Education Centre”, “Fire Services area”, etc. The Education Centre cum Museum aims to promote public education on fire safety and ambulance knowledge, contingency methods or what to do in case of fire and public first aid skills.
In this visit, members will have the opportunity to see some of the oldest fire-fighting equipment that was once used in the Museum. Besides, members may also have the chance to tour the Academy and learn about the newest training facilities.
